Inspiration
As a designer, I am guided by the eight Japanese aesthetics, but my primary inspiration stems from iki, which evokes simplicity, sophistication, spontaneity, and originality. As a whole, it ties these sentiments to human nature.
I believe that the best designs mirror the user and the space around them. They are minimalistic, yet functional, and draw inspiration from both nature and tradition.
Ultimately, I strive to create furniture pieces so simple that they are almost imperceptible, yet so impactful that they are never forgotten.
